Resolutions couples should consider making this year

If there’s a list of things you’ve always wanted to try together, here’s your chance to make this the year that you finally cross some of those items off your list. Whether you do something daring like skydiving or just try sushi for the first time, the most important thing is that you’re trying these new adventures together.

Resolutions couples
      should consider making this year

1. COOK TOGETHER

An amazing way to have an inexpensive date night is to enjoy this New Year’s resolution for couples that you can put to use all year long! Most of us may cook for each other, but how often do we cook together? You can opt for taking a class to enhance your chef skills and see what you two can cook up for your next movie night in. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

2. EXERCISE TOGETHER

Most of the time it’s easier to watch what you’re eating and kick start a healthy lifestyle when you have someone by your side when you’re exercising. Challenge each other to go the extra mile on the treadmill, see who can run faster around the track, or pick up a game of ball to really make this a workout that promises to last all year long.

3. APPRECIATE EACH OTHER

Many times it’s the little things that count the most, and showing your partner a little appreciation goes a long way! Just by saying "thank you", "I love you", or telling them how much they mean to you, will make their day so much better. Send an "I miss you" text when they are at work, or go a little bit further and surprise them with a work week date night out. Express your love every day and try to really be there for each other this year.

4. MAKE SOME SAVINGS

You can make this year about saving money as well, and you could do it together. Once a week or month, depending on your expenses and budget, put money away into your savings account and at the end of the year put that money towards paying off the big bills that you still owe. Reaching your goal to pay off a loan will lift a big weight off of your shoulders, besides it will leave extra savings to finally do the things you’ve always desired.

5. TRAVEL TOGETHER

Whether you travel to parts of your state you have never been to before or you go out of state or country, explore together and make memories that will last a lifetime. No more staying at home on the weekend; get out there and see the unique stores and events your town, state, or country has to offer.
